Wherever possible, Tapestry Design uses recycled fabric waste discarded by the fashion industry. This is provided by FABCycle , a deadstock revival house located in Vancouver .
We work with their recycled polyester, cotton bamboo and organic cotton.
Other eco-friendly fabrics we use are faux fur, upholstery remnants and curtain remnants.
We are committed to sustainable fashion and go the extra mile to work with fabric waste materials.
This entails extra time in the creative process as well as in sewing, since all FABCycle products are purchased online. We find out how a material looks and feels only once it arrives at the door.
